hrm you are right that scene with that scientist guy isn't in King Kong according to this script I read. Now that's gonna drive me nuts of what movie I'm thinking.
However, I still got problems with the "ooga booga" natives and the chinese "me so solly" character named charlie. Even for 1930 it was recognized as bad taste.

The General airs on TCM this Thurs night-Fri morning 2:30 AM EST. I defy anyone to show me any racism in this film.

my problem with the general was he took a real life event and had it as a major pro-confederacy plot and message.
The confederacy was in support of slavery, and I will never stick a movie like that on my top 30. Stick it on your top 30 if you want, but I won't.

I have no such list, & have already addressed your critique.

Then make a list of your own and stop whinin about my view on pro-confederate movies or what I perceive to be racist.

Why should I, when I have so much fun messing with you? If you make a statement on a public forum, you should not be surprised when somebody critiques it.

Cause otherwise you look like a coward, too afraid to post your own movies for fear of someone critiquing you.

I freely admit that I had only one print t-shirt, for a similar reason. But the thing was very hot, having a plastic-like print on the chest and stomach. However, creating a 30 top movies list is simply not a priority. I have borrowed over 1500 discs from Netflix, & 300-400 from Blockbuster online. I can scarcely remember any but a few of them well enough to make such a list. I will credit you on your extensive coverage of your own list, though I disagree with some of your arguments.
