I am so sick of ignorant big headed professors

I am really sick of ignorant professors.

I wound up getting stuck with some IDIOT professor of chinese linguistics for my chinese translation of Tora. I am going through a NFP Translation Organization, so I couldn't choose which translator I wanted.

First of all the jerk was supposed to do an initial evaluation of a previous translator (who was a 16 year old girl and her family).

He said: "This is bad I need to fix it."

I asked for detailed explanation from the NFP people. (NFP - Non For Profit).

She kept trying to contact him.

3 weeks go by, then nothing.

Then the *()$%#@)(% comes back sticks her (and me) with a 42 hour bill, citing massive changes. He also refused to follow my specific contract-obliged requirements for submitting a finished translation to me.

I take his work to some older chinese people I know (people who are paid professional translators with the legal end of this firm my mom works in), they said he goofed up in several spots, he made very simple chnages,

NFP people said they checked him against another of their translators, and that the translation was fine. However, he still had it in a bad format, and still claimed changes which he didn't make. I can read enough chinese to know how much he changed.

I said I am very upset with this. I'll chalk up the translation dispute to people coming from different areas of china (which they did), however, he needs to send it in the proper format.

So, another 3 weeks roll by while this is happening and he claims he's making it in the right format.

I finally get a test page from this loser, and it's in 4x7 format alright -- INSIDE AN 8.5x11" PAGE BOUNDARY!
When it was SUPPOSED to be 5x8 page boundary with .5 margins, I get this huge load of trash I cannot use! It's got like 2" boundaries on either end and not fit for reproduction!

If I were a corporate entity I could sue this people for defaulting their contract.

IF these people weren't a Non-For Profit agency for victims of violent crimes, I'd have canned them after his first foul up.

I just don't know how many chances I should give this guy anymore.

They're pretty cool in generation, they help victims of violent crimes and what not.
