strange finding at Hot Topic

this is a backpack a friend of mine found at her local Hot Topic. We are both very confused about this and was wondering if anyone here could shed some light on it

From Google I could gather that BOTDF is a band formed in 2007 that uses the same name as that one Michael Jackson song. I'm guessing (hoping) they licensed Unico for some of their merchandise. Reminds me of that all-female band that called themselves "Astro Boy".
