Tezuka In English Discussion Forums

They are very different; the 1st grade story being rather silly. I can only speculate that its main purpose was to entice kids into reading it, by its goofiness. Strangewings has sent me the panels he had translated, & I have yet to look at them. Give me a few days.

Thanks JeffBert! From what you say, I take it "Astro Boy--First Grade Student" is very juvenile; which I guess is to be expected as it was intended for a very young readership! Hope you can post those translated panels! BTW, I've started a thread re: "Astro Boy Returns" @ AB On-line! Hoping for your input on the subject!
