I submitted an Astro Boy AMV to Anime Boston's (New England's largest anime convention) AMV contest's drama catergory. Though I didn't win, almost 200 videos were submitted, 42 of them being drama, and mine made it to the top 5. So that alone I feel really good about and it's encouraged me to send it to a few more cons coming later this year.
