Dutch Kimba VHS covers ( Scanned by yours truely )

The VHS covers of the Netherland's Kimba collection and i have them
since my other topic was ignored this might change it, all of the tapes contain badly dubbed Dutch 2 episodes of the second season of Kimba but the opening and engding theme ` Shows clips of the first season
The first cover isnt..that bad stays true some color mistakes here and there



second cover...not only trying to look like Disney but the title is different too
Its now Lion and King

cover has NOTHING to do with Kimba at all

Like vol1 close to the true..only Lune does not apear in the groziila episode

Hmm, it just now occured to me that there is another thing common to both Kimba & Simba's stories. I do not know if anyone noticed this before, & would think it strange if no one had; but the VERY setting itself is noteworthy, because lions do not live in the jungle. But then, there is that old song by the Tokens that says the lion sleeps IN the jungle, there are numerous Tarzan movies; so it may not be that much of a coincidence or rip-off, if we consider that the mistake pre-existed both stories.

Yeah, but in the Lion King, Simba doesn't really live in the jungle until exhiled... Of course, someone could say it is a clearing in the jungle....

I guess I don't worry too much about the lion king story...other than the money it raked in, it really doesn't do much to deserve note.

The covers above definitely show a little interest in the cash in!

That second one is the brownest looking white lion I've ever seen.
