Hard to Find Phoenix volumes

I was wandering around Boston and found a copy of Phoenix v7 at New England Comics at Harvard Square (ever been there Ada?

)

They had 6-10 sitting on the shelf (this time I didn't buy any)

Oh, and I stumbled across a store called "Million Year picnic" (despite cmoon actually telling me to check it out, I couldn't remember... but found it regardless)

They had copies of Nextworld (1-2) in the 50% off manga bins...

So sad, I wanted to buy them...

Is 'New England Comics' the one right next to Twisted Village? I didn't mention that one because I didn't feel it was nearly as good as million year picnic (although both have the potential to stock interesting things.)

Or maybe there's another harvard square comic store I've missed?

Ha! While you were there you should have gone to the harvard natural history museum of science, they have a tazmanian tiger there...

has anyone recieved their Phoenix books yet from the person who was selling them on Amazon before they listed the reprints? I haven't yet and I wish I'd waited a day or two to order from Amazon directly.

I don't know if this is old news, but I just saw the reprint of Phoenix vol 1 and 2 today in my comic store, so they really keep them in print.

Since all currently published Viz editions of the manga are readily available through online retailers, including Amazon, can we limit this thread to requests for forein editions or overseas requests? Thanks.

Hey I'm new here and just within the year has found out about the awesomeness that is Tezuka and I'm really wanting to read Phoenix but I cant find volume one for the life of me. Every site I go to has others but not one. I even tried to find an uploaded downloadable copy on online manga readers but not a single one I found has any Phoenix whatsoever.
So can you help me?

By the way I'm not stingy with money I'm just desperate to read it.
