Considering I don't understand most of the dialog, I am very surprised by how much I enjoy this. There are so many cute moments, even Astro Boy doesn't compare (I've been contemplating making a montage of the best, like Mars saying "Thank You" in 4 different languages to get Tawashi's face away from him, dancing with his new puppy (my avatar), throwing a fit when a robot maid tries to dress him, getting his mouth shut by a pacifier and enjoying it, playing with toys, etc). The music is awesome too, and it seems like there's always new pieces as I get further into the series. Action scenes get me really pumped.

Finally after all this time I own my favorite anime ever. I've already watched it without subtitles (and caught a lot of new things, man the screen is always packed with stuff going on). I'll be ripping it to my PC so I can watch it with soft subs.

And I just remembered that I've bought tickets for Evangelion 2.0, Mai Mai Miracle and Oblivion Island for the Fantasia festival tomorrow. I'm really only going there because of Evangelion 2.0 which I've been waiting for since a year.

I love the JM series; though there are only a few episodes that are versions of classic AB stories, there is also one from Vampires. Popeye stars as the big evil robot in Hamegg's circus; I found this absolutely hilarious.

Welp, here goes my first foray into non-Tezuka manga, I just ordered the following:





Though that it's from the wonderful artist duo behind the 2003 Astro Boy manga certainly helped my decision.

I also remembered that I wanted to get into the classic Mega Man Megamix which started coming out in English last February. Vol. 2 is inexplicably missing from Amazon, so I'll try ordering them at my local manga store some time later.

AND I ordered the entire Buddha French deluxe editions. As usual I feel dumb for not doing so before and have to suffer the intolerable wait for them to arrive (I finished Jetter Mars, what am I supposed to do now? I considered rereading Phoenix but that would be much longer than waiting for my shipment). (EDIT: scratch that, I've been rereading Phoenix after all. One book per day should work)
