Metropolis on Blu ray

Metropolis is coming to a 2 Blu-ray disc set in Japan (region A) and at amazon.jp you can pre-order it.

If I did my research right, Metropolis won't have any English options. Though hopefully I'm wrong since region A Blu-rays play on American Blu-ray players as well as Japanese.

I might see the value in live-action content on Blu-ray, but anime usually has far too few details to justify it.

Well I can compare it to much much more, but I don't see a problem with this film. Story was okay, designs were cool and the overall look was better than most Tezuka anime produced after Tezukas Death o,O

Okay there was this "but Tezuka never would have made an anime oput of this manga" discussion, but I don't think this justifies low rating.
I mean, yes it was not really Tezuka, but it's far FAR better than the new Black Jack Movie or the Dororo Live Action lol

I didn't really love this movie, mostly because it changed the story to make it more of a ripoff of the Fritz Lang film >: (
and because I love the manga so much better.

....but that cover art IS INCREDIBLE! I LOOOVE art deco and the REAL Metropolis (the Fritz Lang silent film).....this really reminds me of some of the art that was done for that:

The new pictures are just awesome i love the picture of Kenichi saving Tima, however i wont get it i already have the special Dvd of Metropoils whice is like the crown of my Tezuka dvd collections.

And i prefer the english dub to the Japense one please don't be pissed X D
