Tezuka In English Forum Rules
1. Only one account per user. Normally users should only have one account. If, for some reason, you need to change your posting account, you must contact one of the administrators. Users are permitted have multiple accounts ONLY if there is a specific practical need for it and it does not cause problems other site users. "Sockpuppets" and secondary accounts created only for the purpose of seeming to support what one is saying will not be tolerated and may result in the suspension the user's posting priviledges. Users who have a serious need create a second user account are required to request permission before doing so by sending a PM to one of the admins
2. Keep Threads On Topic- This means posts must be in the right forum, or in private messages if necessary. Off-topic posts will get moved, locked or deleted.
3. Be respectful to others. We are not your toys, don't mock, bully, boss or ignore us. Absolutely no personal attacks on other members will be tolerated.
4. Don't start lots of new threads when old threads will do. Try bumping old threads that pertain to your questions, and use the search engine. Duplicate threads will be locked/deleted.
5. New Thread Titles need to be descriptive Vague one-word tiles such as "Tezuka" are NOT a good titles for a thread. Such threads will more than likely earn your topic a new title and the wrath of the Admins.
6. Consolidate your thoughts. A long string of one sentence posts one after the next is not necessary. If you have something you forgot to mention, edit your old post. Completley pointless posts are called spam and will be split and moved off-topic with accompanying warnings.
7. Remember to be age-appropriate in your discussions. Tezuka's fan-base ranges from young children to adults, and his works deal with a wide variety of topics and themes. Not all of them are appropriate for all age groups.
8. No asking/begging/prodding for any copyright material. This includes scanlations, fansubs, or any other such material. This also includes asking for downloading sites or help.
9. Users may take their AVATARS from our Avatar Gallery () or use their own (to use one of ours simply right click the image and copy the image location, then enter it into the "link to off-site avatar" bar in your forum profile page.) Maximum Avatar size must be keep around 80 x 80 pixels. Avatars ARE allowed to be animated, but please try to keep them as small as possible (and not terribly obnoxious, please!)
SIG FILES
Must be restricted to 50pixel height and 200 pixel width. Such files should have a size of no larger than 10 kb (which basically means they shouldn't be animated, although there is no strict rule.)
AVATAR/SIG CONCLUSION: Don't munch up our bandwidth with giant files; don't turn the forums into a bunch of flashing, blinking nonsense. I don't want to suffer a seizure every time I read this forum...
10. Do not quote unnecessarily. Posts in the same thread are meant to respond to each other, so there is no reason to quote an entire post (especially one with large images). If you feel the need to quote, quote only the part of the post you are responding to directly.
11. Private Messages are private. The contents of Private Messages (PM) are considered private information and may not be posted in the open forum without the consent of both parties.
Check these rules regularly. Rules may be ammended or changed and will be posted here. Ignorance of Forum Rules is not a valid defence.
Questions, concerns, should be directed to the mods/admins
