Is anything at all known about moopies, except their telepathic and morphing abilities and that they life five hundred years?

What is their home world like? How do they reproduce?

(Masato had just how many years and never asked his beloved?)

I think there's a bunch of information on the Moopies in the Nostalgia chapter of Phoenix. I believe we get to see their homeworld.
