Tezuka Ripple Effects - (SAFE DISCUSSION - no real debate)

HI!:D
This thread is really supposed to be a thread about Tezuka Similarities in My Life as a Teenage Robot. However, we can talk about anything you believe was a direct ripple effect result from Tezuka.
Now, this is a recovered thread from a thread that accidentally vanished through nobody's fault. Jeffbert had the page saved, so he copied it and I'm reposting it. That's why you'll see me post a lot of info in the first two pages.
So don't worry, ok?
Ok, so the purpose of this thread is to take an in depth analysis of any T.V., Movie, or Manga/Comic that you think MAY have had origins in Tezuka's work.
We will then discuss (not debate), the possible connections.
I think we should try to keep our grades within these categories:
Strong
Medium
Weak
Not Convincing
I will defer to Jeffbert a lot, because, quite frankly, he's a tezuka encyclopedia except when it comes to the 2003 series (his own admission). My memory is poor, but I do have my 2003 dvds so I can look up and watch specific episodes at will if anyone needs help.
I'm sure others such as Strobe and Cmoon have their own thoughts on the issues.
This topic was originally an off topic discussion, but it became "on topic", so I believe this is the most proper place to have this discussion (the on topic area).
So basic rules are:
Synopsis of the particular subject.
Main comparison points:
*Attitudes
*Scripts
*Plots
*Animation
*"easter eggs" (random objects or what not).
Now, My Life as a Teenage Robot will be heavily discussed, but this thread is for ALL Similar works so don't be afraid to interject something that's different.
