Tezuka In English Discussion Forums

I was searching for character info on our site, and clicked a link that was for the TOW, thinking it was for our site. I was surpised to see a login prompt. I tried to find info on joining, but so far, everthing public is in Japanese.

Images that are hosted by TOW that we use now also demand login.



So, apparently the TOW is still around; however, it only acts to redirect browsers to the new site, which is not public, though.

Yeah, I noticed that I few weeks ago. I wonder if the means the new english site will be very similar to the old one and they've just locked it down for the time being until they're ready to release it.

I corresponded with Tezuka World about the English site. They have taken it down until they complete an English version of the new site. The password is for administrators only so no one else can access it.

For now I'm going through our page and trying to disable as many links to the old site as possible. It will take a while, unfortunately. There is a new page (linked on the main page) with some info on how to navigate the new Japanese Tezuka site, but it's very difficult and most of the originally useful pages don't seem to exist anymore. They're also hosting their images almost entirely in flash so they can't be borrowed or linked to. There is some new content in it (the new character index is more extensive, for one) but it's very hard to find.

Tezuka Pro works very slowly so the new English site will almost certainly not be up until 2009 at the earliest.
