A Tezuka fan's itinerary in Japan

I'd like to write a page which would be a Tezuka fan's ideal itinerary for visiting Japan, with brief descriptions of all the major sites you have to visit (like the Takarazuka museum, Kyoto station) as well as good places to shop for merchandise and doujinshi, and other interesting stops. If possible I'd like to include photos (mippa, I still have yours from the museum and will post them when I have a chance) as well as details, like recommendations of how to get to places, and good places nearby to stay. Does anyone have any suggestions to make? I'll have to rely a lot on the rest of you for this since I haven't been to Japan yet (still saving up...).

I like the Takarazuka museum better than Kyoto.
Takarazuka also has the benefit of being a historical place
in Tezuka's life - I think Kyoto doesn't have special significance for him.
(and a couple times the famous Takarazuka theater has performed
Tezuka works)

That said if you are in the Takarazuka area, go to Kyoto too.
It is maybe like an hour away. And many other cool things
to see in Kyoto.

For a look at older Tezuka merchandise go to Mandarake.
There are 2 in Osaka - which is midway between
Takarazuka and Kyoto by train.
You may have the chance to find signed items, toys,
old manga and odd and end artbooks, pamphlets, magazines etc.
There are 5 or 6 other Mandarake shops dotted around the country.
(some, like Akihabara, don't have much Tezuka stuff)

There is a famous apartment that Tezuka and other Manga-ka
of the era lived in together. .. I think that was Tokyo.
There story was dramatized in "Manga Michi".
I thought the apartment was being considered for preservation
but I don't know what ever happened.

And don't miss the Tezuka Osamu Shitajiki Museum in Shiga-ken.

I want to see Black Jack: Capital Transfer to Heitan first! Did I get the title right? Anyway, I've heard that it's the rarest Black Jack movie ever and it could only be seen in the museum.
