When I posted this thread in ABO, it was February 3rd, the day that Jetter Mars had premiered on Japanese televisions, and so the day of his 34th Anniversary! Of course 34 isn't much of a milestone at all, it is something to be glad about nonetheless.
While Jetter Mars did not last very long (almost less than a year), the show had sprouted a short 'fad' during its run. Various merchandise were made, including quite a few manga by other mangaka, and some guide and art books too. Tezuka never did create his own JM manga, but he had drawn Jetter Mars in his own style before.
There aren't too many Jetter Mars fans here like myself, but hey, it's an anniversary anyhow!
