Here is a picture of this beautiful Phoenix clock.
Apparantly, it was "designed" by him, and is located in Kyoto Station.
mod: merged threads because of logical progression
What is at this museum? Does it have every single thing by Osamu Tezuka? It can't have the Phoenix clock, 'cause that's located in Kyoto station.

There's a webpage about it here.

I think at least one poster here has been there before. I'd love to hear about it.

The Phoenix clock (a masterpiece, I have to say) is in the train station in Kyoto, along with some other Tezuka stuff. I've been to Kyoto a couple of times, but never by train, so I haven't seen it.
You should try to get some of the Kaiyodo figurines if this kind of thing interests you. They're small, but beautifully detailed. I have maybe a dozen or so of them.

Not to keep bugging for pictures, but a quick google turned up nothing. A figurine of the phoenix would be amazing. I have some small astroboy figurines but that's it. (why no Kimba figurines?)

Aw~ My jaw dropped when I saw that picture of the Phoenix! So beautiful! I'll make sure to make that one of my stops in Japan.

That clock is beautiful. I have half a mind to make my own one day. Probably wouldn't even be that difficult if you could find the right clock face, actually.
Interesting the see the Phoenix in white, too.

I think it's not actually white, it just looks that way in the photo.

Just back from a vacation to Kyoto and Tokyo. The Phoenix is more silvery than white, from my memory. Can't remember if I made photo's of it, think I did.
It's not actually in plain sight though in Kyoto Station, it's on the B1 floor of the main hall, besides the waiting point.
