Answer to the Disney question: The answer is yes and you should know this having read metropolis. All of Tezuka's work is heavily influenced by Disney's style and Tezuka had a great respect for Disney. In one of those early books (future world?), Mustachio guts a giant rat that looks exactly like mickey mouse and uses its hide as a disguise. Now that's a great tribute to Disney!
Nevermind that in Jungle Emperor, Leo goes around early in the manga wearing suspenders that look surprisingly like mickey's!

If you're interested, most of the Prince Planet series can be found on Youtube.
Which company has licensed the most Tezuka?

There is no manga about Hyoutan-Tsugi, it's a novel, and it's called "Poison Mushroom" - you can see more if you read the Hyoutan-Tsugi profile on our character profiles page.

I read that, but I assumed you just meant "manga", instead of "novel".

I don't wanna be offensive here but I'm curious how Tezuka, you know, died...

Stomach cancer, not diagnosed until it was too late.
His last words were, "Please, I'm begging you, let me keep working."
Where's BJ when you need him?
