TezukaInEnglish.com is almost a year old now, and in that time we've expanded to have over 100 pages of content, covering dozens of series and aspects of Tezuka's works. However, dozens is far from covering all 700 of Tezuka's works, and the site still has a lot of growing to do.
If any of you would like to contribute to TezukaInEnglish.com, by volunteering to do a page for a series we haven't covered, or to expand our coverage of an already-covered series, or by submitting pictures, analytical essays or anything else which could help us grow, please either post your ideas and suggestions here, or e-mail me by using one of the "contact us" links back on the main site.
TezukaInEnglish.com is already the second-best Tezuka source in English on teh web, after the English version of Tezuka World, but we have a lot of growing to do, and the more people contribute, the better we'll be.

You know I have already volunteered myself, Ada-san. ^^v I will most likely be a Black Jack specialist, but I will certainly contribute to other parts when I can--especially as I look further into Fushigi na Merumo for my magical girl research.

If Tezuka in English would be a home for it, I will be writing a lengthy review of the entire Leo affair (manga, kimba, leo the lion and the film.) I was planning on it for a friend's movie page, but it will be more serious and more in depth than would probably be appropriate there--more of a lengthy critical essay than a shorter review.
It hadn't occured to me that tezuka in english was hosting 'essays' and what not.

I think the site would be a great place for an essay about the Leo movie issue, so if you want to write it I'll be happy to post it.
And Mippa-chan has already been sending me invaluable Black Jack info, much of which you've seen on the site.
Since this seems as good a place as any to post about site updates, I'm proud to announce that my great big spreadsheet cross-indexing all the collected issues of Black Jack and noting their animated adaptations is now online:
I've been working on it a long time and it still isn't totally complete, but it's pretty comprehensive and covers a lot of anime and remakes which no other similar index does, plus treating the French, Italian, Spanish, English and Japanese editions in one place. I hope you all find it helpful, and if you find any errors, let me know.
In other happy news, my analytical essay about Rock Holmes is finally DONE DONE DONE! It wound up being a monster, 21 pages single-spaced. I've posted the introduction already, and will post the entire essay within a few days, I just want to wait for a friend to proof-read it before it goes online (I can't spell to save my life.) When it goes online, I'll be excited to hear what you all think, since there are few people anywhere who have read enough Tezuka to understand it.

Excellent! Thanks.
I've GOT to get myself a copy of that BJ CD when it comes out... But what I really want most right now in terms of Tezuka soundtracks is the Dororo opening - that may be the catchiest song I've ever heard. I keep trying to order it on the Tezuka Theme Song Collection from CD Japan, but they say they're sold out.

Would anyone out there be willing to write a series page for Kimba for me?
It doesn't need to have a lot of detail since there's already so much on other Kimba sites, but I want a page covering the very basics, with a simple story description, little character bios, a timeline of when different versions of the series were made, and links to other kimba pages. You don't need to do any web coding, just type it up and e-mail it to me.
Our current Astro Boy page can be used as a model:
As you can see, it has a brief, very basic intro page with links, a separate page about Astro's origins, powers and family, and a page with one paragraph discussing each different version that's been made, plus some supplementary stuff. I know there are others out there who could do a much better Kimba page than I can, and I'd rather spend my time doing pages for rarer series like Belladonna, I.L and Barbara.
Thanks!
