I would like to add that I believe the 2003 episode wasn't 100% in line with the manga because it attempted to fit/condense several different astro stories into a single episode.

I feel that is the same with the majority ofthe 2003 eps. Some people say it hurt the 2003 animated series, but I think the animated series was well done, well written, and did convey a lot of Tezuka's morals.

Astro Boy is about Morality, just like Aesop's fables.
