Astro = Ladies' man?

I was watching an old 80s episode and noticed that in this one episode, Astro gets at least TWO girls flocking over him. Not bad for a Nine year old robot

There's the girl he rescues

And the island native was just all over him. And SHE was blonde and topless. GO GO GO ASTRO BOY! :lol:

You know, in the older Astro Boy, he's actually a man's man. In the episode about the German lady, her son was all over him, and in this one episode there was this sailor kid who totally wanted Astro Boy.

I suppose Astro Boy attracts everyone.

I'd like to point out that my favourite episode from this version of Astro-Boy is the "Astro's First Love" episode (I'm a sucker for cartoon romance), which I really wish had a happier ending.

As for his apparent way with the ladies, I guess that while Tenma tried to design him to be a surrogate son, and Ochanomizu tried to train him to be a hero, his true role is a love machine! :lol:
