I guess that would explain this . I still prefer the children choir though. A political intro sequence revolving around the race to the moon seems out of place.

On the Astroboy forum, we have had several people who were involved in the 1980s series' English-language version. One was Jay Rath, who has not been around for a while, but who did contribute info on all 51 episodes.
