This commercial is just epic!

But this one is plain disturbing.



Especially the upbeat music before Astro's confrontation with Pluto in a split two seconds before it quickly cuts to Astro flying in the air which just seems so ominous since it's tense. I'm feeling Astro got killed and that the following footage of him flying in the sky is him in heaven...

Oh I loved the second ad. I can't describe the awesome feeling I got the first time to see such a classic moment of Astro meeting Pluto in animated form, even though it's just a really quick flash.

The second one didn't seem disturbing to me at all. It seemed cute

It's not that it was disturbing, though the wording fit at the time, it was that it shown a brief Pluto scene where Astro looks like he's gonna get killed and then cut quickly to him flying in the air. It just symbolized his death and ascension or maybe I'm reading too much into it?

Looking back at it , I wish that the renaimated segment was apart of a promo for an anime remake of Astro Boy because those few seconds were better than the 2003 series we got.
