The first one, according to a post on the , is from a geography textbook for school I think? The second one I found on Yahoo, it appears to be from a magazine.

He reminds of Pluto a bit, but made peace with Atom upon defeat.

I have removed the 2nd link, because now that I think about it, I am unsure if that was an appropriate link. Anyway, the magazine seems to have been published July 2001 (平成13年7月発行)?? The robot does seem quite similar to Pluto.
