After going through the Astroboy 60s B/W Japanese DVD boxsets, I have actually found that there are 3 episodes completely missing! (not sure if I realised this years back!)

These are completely missing, from the DVD menu and box:

BOXSET 4 / DVD24 = Ep 125 - "Find the Bacteria"
BOXSET 4 / DVD24 = Ep 127 - "The Experimental Robot"
BOXSET 5 / DVD27 = Ep 139 - "Atom Stolen"

I also have noticed, there were no US versions dubbed via: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_As ... 9_episodes
However at the bottom of the wikipedia page, they are listed in reference to the boxsets, yet, BOXSET 6 only has the 5 episodes from DVD 31, yet there are DVDs 32-36 in my set, with episodes 177-193!

Does anyone know more about this?
Were they corrected on later presses, releases? Are they available anywhere else?

After some very quick searching online, I used google's translate service for a page at columbia.jp and it seems that there is mention is episodes, 125, 127, 139 on boxset 2; here is the translation:

# 124 story restoration image Meiji Seika "s search volume of the bacteria" and "Astro Boy film" inclusion "Astro Boy Caramel" (Still)
# 139 story medium-term restoration video version opening storyboards (Still) medium-term restoration video version opening 127th story "Astro Boy Club" filing calendar "National Bureau net 33" cut into

Well, I've inspected my DVDs and it seems mine also have the storyboard re-creations, although I had to dig - so they aren't full episodes!
