I like Astro!:D

I'm 27, but the series makes me feel like I'm 12! -- one of the few fun years I had.

So if you see me using !:D! often, it's just because I think it's fun.

I also know many people hate the music for the 2003 series, but I like it because it feels like that guitar is Astro's heart beating to the call of fighting for freedom and equality of robots with Kokoro and Humans. It also brings memories of James Bond.

^_^ <= sometimes I also use that face.


I wonder though... did Astro ever grow up? I wonder if Tezuka ever considered an Aztro Boy of 100 years in the future... as a Middle Aged Robot President.

Things like that are interesting to me.

You could make some arguments that Tezuka did explore this to a point by introducing the Atlas character as a boy then later rebuilt as a full-grown robot.
