Tezuka In English Discussion Forums

Hello folks. I have not posted here in a long time. I still lurk though and this weekend stumbled across something I thought was worthy of a return to posting for. It comes from the pages of Teen Boat an excellent little small press mini comic by Dave Roman and Dave Green. Check out what one of the doctors looks like when the lead character ends up in hospital...

Comics have such homages all the time.

There's an excellent Man-hwa (Korean comic) called Soul to Seoul, that in one panel has the characters from Cowboy Bebop in a crowd scene.

Also, there was an issue of the Sonic The Hedgehog comic book that featured an animal version of the [i]Tenchi Muy

I have seen many instances of similar borrowing of characters in the daily comics, & Tezuka was also known for the practice.
