Here is a picture from a shitajiki that I have not been able to identify.
Of course it is the pied piper thing, but not aware of a Tezuka story.
Anybody seen it before?
thanks,
David

Wow... I have no idea. I'll poke around on TW and see if it has any leads, but off the top of my head I have no clue.

Been a few months, and still no info on the pic. We got a lot more folks
hanging around here so thought I'd ask again.

I'm sorry but I don't have a clue either.
It seems very old... can it be a product number or something that looks like ST 50-6? Maybe it's 6th design in Showa 50, 1975 or something... or it might be totally irrelevant.
Maybe sun-star stationary co.,ltd has some info about the design.

Are you certain it's from some Tezuka work? It doesn't quite look like his stuff to me.

Well it has at least his signature on it I think. If this means something in this case.

Don't you think it may possibly be one of Tezuka's remakes?
He did remake quite a bit of things by Disney.

By remake, you mean Tezuka may have done a story,
or you mean he just did this picture as a tribute?

It could possibly be either one of them or both.
I heard he made his own Bambi remakes.
*shrugs shoulders* I guess we'll never know!
