Tezuka In English Discussion Forums

Well, I'm back from Korea and China... with some Tezuka treasure in hand!

It was a bit of a hunt, but I was able to get my hands on some out of print Tezuka manga in Korean... including Phoenix (Shonen Club), and the 3 volume set of Microid S! I also was able to get all three sets of the Tezuka Miniature Anthology figures

My two favourites are the Dororo and Phoenix ones. I was a little disappointed that there were two Princess Knight figures instead of a different one. I also picked up an Astro Boy one to "complete" the set.

Does anyone know when the last one was released, and if they plan to release any more sets? I'm not usually big on figures and/or models - but for some reason I just couldn't resist (and ended up buying a LFO model from the series "Eureka 7" as well as a set of 4 figures).

Figures make addictive.
Man I so want them too. Well I'll have to get them through e bay. I especially want the Vampire and Kimba one.

Well, I found something that's not nearly as impressive but darn amusing. On my way out of a (the web site's not fully functioning yet but it looks cool ), I spotted a weird yellow and pink thing hanging from a hook. I thought, "Ahh! It looks like Hyoutan-Tsugi popping out of nowhere, just like in the manga!" but I figured that's not what it was. Upon closer inspection, it was in fact this goofy little ceramic Hyoutan-Tsugi bell...ornament...thing. I bought it and might take some pictures once I hang it up. I sure hope I can hang it up without it randomly appearing and freaking me out again...
