So here’s the stuff Tezuka fans need to know:

Crowfundings available at the site launch will be a DVD boxset for Bander Book, Marine Express and Fumoon (the first three 24-Hour TV Specials) and volume 1 (first 13 episodes) of Blue Blink. After that first 3 months period we can expect more TV specials (Bremen 4, Prime Rose, Bagi, etc) and volume 2 of Blue Blink, and so on, assuming the DVDs get successfully funded. Each boxset is made of 2 double-layer discs.

The site is ready and should be launching in about 2-3 weeks. More titles (not necessarily Tezuka ones) are going to be announced during that time!

Would some U.S people here be willing to pledge on my behalf, international people won't be able to pledge apparently...

I hope more Tezuka series are put up if these are a success.

As said in the podcast, since companies in different countries own the rights to certain titles, they don't want to make the site so that some people only see certain shows, and other people see other others, and so on. It would get confusing in the comments and the community aspect of the site.

But of course I would hope that everyone who lives in the US or Canada is willing to help out other people who want to pledge by receiving their money via Paypal and sending them the boxset once it arrives on their doorstep. If anyone's looking for a middleman, I'm fully volunteering.

They announced Black Jack TV series! Not sure if this is just the OVA series?
