It looks like the new Astro Boy CGI movie is finally blasting forward, with the news of a writer now attached. The one taking up the challenge is a writer called Timothy Harris (Space Jam, Kindergarten Cop, Twins and Trading Places)
I'm not sure of the selection of the writer. After all were talking about an established icon, that needs to be taken seriously. Judging from his past writings (mostly comedies) I hope he keeps the same mood and feelings that made us love Astro Boy in the first place, there. Still the future looks bright and hopefully a star will be reborn.

I love that picture. I actually used that picture among many other "Tezukan" pictures for my PowerPoint presentation about biofuels.

SPACE JAM?! That used to be my favorite movie! I wonder how Astro Boy will turn out.
