Although I'm 20 now, I was 15 when I read my first Tezuka comic, which was Black jack. I thoroughly enjoyed it too. I was 17 when I read my next Tezuka comic, which was Buddha. I think alot of people may think that 16/17 year olds would not be interested in a comic like Buddha, but I think because I was young it actually made me enjoy it even more- I'd never seen or read something before that was so merciless on its characters (as in quite sinister) or philisophical, and as such I found it very exciting/hard to put down compared to other manga I was reading at the time.
