Tezuka In English Discussion Forums

I'm a fairly new fan. The Black Jack manga is my favorite so far. I'm a huge collector, so I eventually plan to buy all the different editions of Black Jack. This will take a while since there are so many edition.

You'll fit right in here grapeofdeath - there's a ton of Black Jack fans. I assume you know that Vertical will start publishing Black Jack in English next month, right? It's said to be a very complete version.

If you're a new fan, hopefully you'll come to appreciate some of Tezuka's other (and less well-known) works as well.

Yes, I've already pre-ordered the first two hardcover and the soft cover ones I'll just pick up at the bookstore. I've updated the wikipedia page in preparation:

The hardest English version for me to find right now are the single issue comics by Viz media in 1999. I have two of them and they each include two chapters. I'd like to get the rest, but they are almost impossible to find.

I'm sure I will come to appreciate the other more eventually. I think I like this one so much is because Black Jack is more geared towards adults, or at least in my opinion. Most of the stuff I read tends to fit into the seinen category and this seems to fit right along with the rest of my reading.
