I got into Tezuka only recently-ish through Black Jack, Metropolis (2001), and Urasawa's Pluto, but I have fond memories of watching the few episodes of Astro Boy ('03) that were broadcast on Kid's WB back in the day.
The main reason I'm joining, however, is to give thanks to this community - I've been running a forum-based let's play of Astro Boy: Omega Factor in which I've been doing my best to give a comprehensive-ish look into each of the characters, settings, story references and the like, and the databases and threads here have been an enormous help.
I'm not gonna be a boob and advertise it in my damn welcome thread or anything - I just felt the need to put a word in, and maybe get involved in the community? I'm far from done either way so if I encounter any issues in my research NOW I HAVE A PLACE TO ASK, WOO.
