Phoenix 2772

Hello, maybe someone can help me with something that im trying to solve for years now
I have an old copy of "Phoenix 2772" on a VHS, in it most of the soundtrack is the ballet Firebird by Igor Stravinsky which is not surprising, Tezuka was influenced by it when he wrote the Phoenix manga and all the scenes fit perfectly to the music.
then a few years ago, I bought the dvd version of 2772 and the soundtrack was completely different, it same to be an original one that doesn't fit at all to the movie, scenes with intense action have a slow quiet music and alot of it feels monotonous.
so what happened? did they lose the rights to use the Stravinsky soundtrack?
I looked everywhere to try and find some info about it but its like the VHS version that i have never existed according to the internet
Thanks in advance to whoever knows
