My new Tezuka swag...

I just got back from Hong Kong and Korea, and of course I managed to snag some pretty neat Tezuka swag.

Here's what I managed to find:

1) Korean box set of Jungle Emperor Leo anime. Not a great set though - no English subs and low quality. Still for $5 it was a pretty neat find. I also found a bunch of Leo DVD's in Hong Kong, but didn't get them because they had no subs.


2) A cool Black Jack and Pinoko figure set. It's about 30cm high, and after MUCH searching, I found a pic -


3) The Astro Boy gashapon I was missing...


4) I grabbed this Higeoyaji statue..


5) I got a nice Astro Boy automatic watch.



6) I got a copy of "어머니는 나에게 하고 싶은 일을 하라고 하셨다" (My Mother Told Me I should do the kind of work I wanted to do). A book by Tezuka, translated into Korean which was out of print but recently re-released.

Wow, Strobe, I am sooo envious! What a fantastic haul to come back with. I only have the Atom/Blue Knight figure from the same set as your Uran scene, but I'll have to try and track down the others.

Any tips for good places to shop for Tezuka material in Hong Kong? I'm going there for a few days in February but as I'm working my free time is limited, so I'd appreciate some advice.
