Jefferbet, please, just stop. That figure has been in the news for the last 2 weeks. It's been so heavy in the news they repeat the figure and the source at least once every night on the national news. But if you HAVE to have a source, please just type in poll public option 72% and 50% 32% You'll get your answer. FYI The 72% figure is the low poll number, there are actually two polls one puts it at 76%.
The whole "cite your source thing" only works with me if I'm saying something that's not widely known. If you haven't heard of the polling done for Public Option by now you really haven't paid attention to the news.
Also, your whole "drug companies won't have any incentive" is blown to hell and back when you realize that drug companies in Europe have come out with far more and innovative techniques than the ones in the US. It's a right wing theory you're citing that has no basis in fact. This is an example of where I can say "prove it with a real world factual citation".
