How Do You Respond to Tezuka Haters?

I am always kind of annoyed when I show people Astroboy, Buddha or Black Jack that their face expression change because 'oh the style is ugly' the style of Tezuka is a little old yes but it still looks pretty good and has its magic. It saddens me that people don't even want to READ his work because of the style not being anime enough or something,

Depends on how the detractors (hate is such a strong word, no offense) approach the situation.

If they were to declare Tezuka's work as overall unimportant, I would show them the influence Tezuka has had on anime and manga and why they should at least respect Tezuka for his work. Of course if they don't care about his work in general but respect Tezuka's impact, then I would leave them alone. After all, it's not like they're going to have issues with that.

That's a great comment. People often simply don't understand the level of his influence. Show them that and they get a whole new appreciation for him.
