True...but the fangirl/fanboy silliness could go in offtopic as well...
I'm not trying to be critical. I love what your doing with this site. It just seems the long lived sites I know have never been aided by having too many seperate forums.
Consider this: The 'general' forum should be where MOST of your on-topic activity is, but the way it is set up now, most of it would go to 'series' or 'new releases'.
There's an old retro-arcade forum I enjoy that's gotten along just fine for years with 'on-topic' 'off-topic' and two more technically oriented forums. Because of the lack of subdivisions it has really thrived and people who might not normally comment on something will jump in.
Anyway, these are just my suggestions. I recognize all the hard work you've been doing on this and I think it is coming along marvelously.
EDIT: Looking at the structure of the board, PERSONALLY, I would again consolidate it down to these three essential forums:
Tezuka discussion which would cover all those things in the 'discussion' section'
Tezuka news one forum covering any upcoming releases/rereleases of manga/anime/related books/etc.
off-topic your basic social board which would include introductions.
You may wish to keep the forum for suggestions but you could also make a sticky in the forums or mention in the faq that all suggestions should be pm'd to you. Alternatively, you might (one day) have a moderators forum for discussion such issues.
I do like the 'other language' sections and think you should keep those.
Again, thsee are my thoughts, I submit them respectfully
