There are two Hi No Tori video-games.
The other is a platform game on NES.

Does anyone have stats on those games that I could add to the web page? Things like dates when they were made, play time, style of game, company, basic descriptions...

Well...

For the Famicom/NES there was one called Hi no tori Houou Hen - Gaou no Bouken (Gaous adventure) made in 1987, see . Some sidescroll jump n' run.

And one for the MSX which was also made in 1987.

Correct. And the one on NES was made by the classic editor Konami.
You control Saruta and you must travel through times to collect partial pictures of the phoenix, in order to resurrect him. It has samourai/forest levels, pirate/beach levels, future/space levels and finally a volcano level. The music at the end is the same as the OAV ending.
