I didn't see the content, but I can tell you that the amount of time it takes all the admins to remove spam posts/memberships that we're a little touchy about even spam parodies.
The other thing is that posting something like a spam parody in the welcome thread for a new member might not be a good idea. The person may not understand that you are a deputized spam seeker and take it the wrong way...
