What's your favorite episode of Astro Boy?

I'm pretty sure the Black Jack one is in the 1980's anime. The story involves recruiting Astro and Black Jack from the "future" and "present" respectively, and travelling to the "past" to help Sapphire (aka Princess Knight) regain (retain?) her/his throne.

It's a little surreal as an Astro Boy episode, but I remember cackling the entire way through when I watched it last year during my 1980's Astro Boy DVD set viewing.

I like all of astro boy

But so far have only seen the most recent series.

I really liked Pluto in the recent series because Epsilon was more developed as a character, and doesn't die. It seemed more "worldly". AstroBoy manga seems centered on Japan, which is perfectly fine and good, and I like it. But I also like th eidea of all the nations having Robots, but these robots do specific things.

Like Epsilon was Australia's robot to save the ocean and ocean creatures. Which is very important to Australia.

But I also liked Pluto's actions with Zoran (Uran). It seemed a bit better tuned than the manga version.

But like I said, I like all astro boy

Does the 2003 series get resolved at the end? I stopped watching around halfway through when there was a break in showing on free-to-air TV here and never got back to them. I probably like it a lot better if I'd watched long enough to encounter the Blue Knight (that's who takes up the mantle of 1980s Atlas, right? 1980s Atlas FTW!). I was so dishearteded by 2003 Atlas. D:

I'm a bit iffy on Epsilon not dying. But if the character is developed differently, I guess it wouldn't be the same as when the 1980s Epsilon died anyway. Australia FTW!

I also give Astro Boy 2003 a 10/10, or at least I do for the original Japanese audio version. The dub is 9/10.
