I pity all toose who have lost valued info on the internet. let me warn you about those little devils named TRACKING COOKIES.
regular cookies basically store memory. Trackers are a whole different story, these devils latch onto your files while you are on the internet, trace where you've been, hack all your files and delete any vital info you may have.
TrackBots (as i like to call them) can send you bankrupt.
if you think a cheap antivirus update will fix it think again.
on a regular basis, for your safety, back all your files up on your HD, and run an antivirus scan and a FULL INTERNET SECURITY SCAN using Norton.
Also, routinely flush cookies.
to do this, depending on your computer:
internet:
tools>>internet settings>>delete>>delete all.
this will also wipe out password memory. I was running an internet security scan last night and found 25 tracking cookies (resolved thanks to Norton Antivirus)
use the Norton programs for Internet Security Scans and antivirus updates/scans.
do not let the Tracking Cookies overpower you.
Mods, please put this topic as sticky. 'Tis very important.
