Yeah, i should've cleared up that I'm a She, not a He. but it's an easy mistake to make.

Sapphire wants to spend the next weekend at Karuah. (it's nice there.)

Just got back from Karuah (went to Hawke's Nest too).

Highlights:

Australia Day fireworks. wonderfull.

In the cabin next to me, there was a bird feeder which atracted Rosellas and Cockatoos. i decided on an experiment, i put out three peces of bread and one broken biscuit on a plate and put it on the balcony. ten minutes later, what looked like either a huge sparrow or a tiny turkey came down and ate all the biscuit peices.

That night, we had a babecue. it was still warm after ten minutes. A few minutes after, a magpie came down from the cabin roof next to us and landed on some towels we hung up because we went to Hawke's Nest Beach earlier. (by the way, while we were there i lost the bottom half of my swimmers to a large wave >.<) So my uncle told the magpie not to land on the barbecue, and of course it didnt listen to him, and it burnt it's foot.

But i, being the kind one, carefully wrapped it in a towel and sat the magpie in a bowl of cold-ish water.

the next morning my uncle accidently left the door open, and the same magpie decided to come in and thank me. xD

Oh, and we went boating (again). i lost my hat overboard for the second time in two years, but this time i retreived it (with difficulty).

And the view of the sky at night? Absolutely brilliant. in sydney all you can see are the brighter stars, but because Karuah is a mere country town, we were able to see the big dipper, the Southern cross, a few planets, and what looked like an arrow/kite.
