I was contacted by strobe_z about the translation of "Vampires" I was starting on my website.

I post about Tezuka stuff semi-regularly on

My favorite Tezuka series are Phoenix, Vampires, Princess Knight, and Astro Boy...but I really love all of them and could never pick a favorite ^_^;;

My favorite Tezuka characters are Hinotori and Rock and Hecate from Princess Knight.

I am a big Disney fan too (as weird as that sounds coming from a Tezuka/anime fan). I blog about the old Disney Latin America films (The 3 Caballeros, Saludos Amigos) over at

my first Tezuka series....... was the (horrible) Metropolis anime. But Metropolis was what got me into the *world* of Tezuka. My first Tezuka manga was Astro Boy.

I'm glad I ran across your weblog and invited you to join the fun. I'm sure you'll find a bunch of support as a Rock fan - there's quite a few of them around it would seem.

Me personally, I'm a Nanairo Inko fan... and cmoon like Leo.

You and I have similar tastes. I love Tezuka and Disney too. I think they share the greatest animation between them in the eastern and western corners of the world.
