Distinguishing Features

In his humanoid form, Pukko is recognizable by the slightly rooster-like tufts on the top of his head. However, in his disguised form he looks like a little duck…with a “Beatles-style” mop-top hair cut.

Status: Series Lead (★★★)

In his main co-starring role, he is cast as Officer Pukko, a member of the “Wonder 3”, a crack team of agents sent to Earth by the Milky Way Confederation to determine if the planet is worth preserving or should be wiped out.  So he, along with his co-stars Captain Bokko and Nokko, are transformed into a duck, a rabbit, and a horse respectively in order to infiltrate human society without raising the alarm.

Notable Roles

Despite being disguised as a duck for almost the entire time, his role in Wonder 3 (1965-66) is considered his primary role.  However, Pukko has also been spotted in Flying Ben (1966-67) and in the Black Jack (1973-83) chapter “Sinking Woman” (1977).
