Brad [aka Captain Blood]

Born into the nobility, but raised by pirates, Brad is strong, noble and brave, but with a mischievously dashing wild streak. He and Sapphire feel a strong attraction for each other - much to the chagrin of Franz who is, unknowingly, Brad's younger brother.

Chao

Chao is impetuous little kitten who dreams of being a witch’s black cat. However, after she befriends Unico, he temporarily changes her into a young girl to comfort an old woman the two think is a witch in the woods. However, the more time she spends as a human, the more she likes it.

Baba, Noboru

Born in Aomori Prefecture in October 1927, Noboru Baba moved to Tokyo in 1949 to begin a career as a manga artist, soon making a name for himself drawing manga for young boys. However, in Tezuka's manga he seems to have fallen on hard times, and is most often cast in the role of a beggar or vagrant. Although he usually finds himself relegated to small, background roles, he is a specialist in dolling out bits of sage advice.

Astro’s Father

Astro's Father was created, along with his much more famous wife, Mitchy, by Dr. Ochanomizu to act as Astro Boy's robot family. Although he is a father figure, as a robot he is actually younger than Astro, and thus attends the same school in a lower grade - something which often leads to some comedic results.

Aggo

The consummate lawman, Aggo is upstanding and righteous, but he is also hot tempered and quick to anger. Despite a slight weakness for alcohol, the merest drop of which will put him to sleep, Aggo is almost always cast as an authority figure. He is most often seen as a Sherrif in the Old West, but on occasion he will take on roles such as a school principle or a doctor.

Franz

With his boyish good looks, he is the spitting image of every girl's ideal "Prince Charming". A skilled athlete, good-looking, and the Prince of Silverland, Franz has it all.

Magoo

Despite being named after a well-known "nearsighted-bumbling-fool" American cartoon character, Magoo's elderly appearance usually brings a sense of stability and a sort of "wisdom that comes with age" authority to his roles.

Nakamura

Nakamura's calming influence usually works in counter-point to his much more hot-headed usual partner, Tawashi. However, despite being generally warm-hearted, and slow to anger, Nakamura will stand on his principles when pressed by the situation. As such, he is nearly universally cast in the role of a police officer.
