With such a menacing appearance, it might be easy to mistake Danke Stadt for a straight up villain. However his character is a bit more complex than that. In fact, you can practically feel the melancholy wafting off him. So, while he is driven to commit menacing deeds, they are usually the acts of desperation of someone perpetually down on his luck.

However he lacks Astro's intelligence and common sense and is often clumsy, gullible, and accident-prone as a result.
