Danke Stadt

With such a menacing appearance, it might be easy to mistake Danke Stadt for a straight up villain. However his character is a bit more complex than that. In fact, you can practically feel the melancholy wafting off him. So, while he is driven to commit menacing deeds, they are usually the acts of desperation of someone perpetually down on his luck.

Cobalt

An inferior copy, created by Dr. Ochanomizu as a temporary replacement for Astro Boy, Cobalt has abilities comparable to those of his brother. However he lacks Astro's intelligence and common sense and is often clumsy, gullible, and accident-prone as a result. Although he often causes problems for the entire family, he remains extremely kind-hearted and loyal - characteristics which help Astro out of trouble from time to time.

Chao

Chao is impetuous little kitten who dreams of being a witch’s black cat. However, after she befriends Unico, he temporarily changes her into a young girl to comfort an old woman the two think is a witch in the woods. However, the more time she spends as a human, the more she likes it.

Pukko

In his main co-starring role, he is cast as Officer Pukko, a member of the "Wonder 3", a crack team of agents sent to Earth by the Milky Way Confederation to determine if the planet is worth preserving or should be wiped out.

Bolorkin

A bit of a roughneck, ruffian and a drunkard, Bolorkin usually finds himself cast in the rough and tumble roles of a dock worker, a cowboy, or a slave-trader. His drinking seems to have been a career-limiting factor though, as many of his later appearances are simply bit parts in the background or as part of the crowd.

Bongo

Bongo is a Tarzan-like character based in the Amazon Jungle rather than deepest, darkest Africa. Raised by animals, and a descendant of the Incans, Bongo protects his jungle home from those who come seeking the treasures of his fore-fathers.

Bokko

In her main co-starring role, she is cast as Captain Bokko, the leader of the "Wonder 3", a crack team of agents sent to Earth by the Milky Way Confederation to determine if the planet is worth preserving or should be wiped out. So she, along with her co-stars Pukko and Nokko, are transformed from their original humanoid forms into a rabbit, a duck and a horse respectively in order to infiltrate human society without raising the alarm.

Chiruchiru

A kindly and gentle father-figure, Chiruchiru is slow to anger. However that doesn't mean he's a pushover. Despite his droopy, rolly-polly exterior, he has the stalwart heart of a lion - especially when he's protecting his cubs. He approaches his tasks with a solid determination to get the job done, and as such he is usually cast in roles of quiet authority.
